23 Feet

I have gotten 23 feet of wall insulated, framed, wired, plumbed and dry walled.  Not too bad for a week while going to work and other life stuff to do.  I do still need to tape and mud the wall, but I can do that after work this week.  I am not sure if I can pull it off, but I hope to get a coat of paint on it before I head to Connecticut for the New Haven Railroad Historical and Technical Association Reunion at the the Essex Steam Railroad.  After that is a operation session on Chris Adams' Valley Railroad.   I am sure to come back energized to finish the room and get building the layout!

A nice section of wall.  I moved the pipe for the sump pump so is goes up
through the wall instead of in the room like it use to be positioned.

Starting to Finish the Walls

I have decided it was time to finish the balance of the basement.  This will allow me to make it warmer and drier in the upcoming fall and winter.   There is also a break in the crazy hot and humid weather in the Northeast so doing this work is much more comfortable.  So far I have cleaned out the area I need to get to and have glued foam insulation.  I will be framing and hanging drywall about 12 feet tonight.  that will be about half the wall, I then can move stuff around and do the balance of the wall.  I will build selves that will hold the lay out and store all of the stuff I am currently moving around.
Here is the beginning, about 14 feet of foam.
